Baharat

$7.00

The origin of Baharat can be traced back to the spice trade between the Middle East, Mediterranean, and Southeast Asia centuries ago. The word Baharat in Arabic translates to “Blend of Spices”. Our blend gets its bold and vibrant flavors from that cumin, paprika, clove, and cardamon.  Baharat is used to caramelize onions, rub onto lamb, and used to make meatballs and kabobs.

Category:

Ingredients:  Black Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Cumin, Clove, Cinnamon, Coriander, Star Annise, Cardamon, Nutmeg

3 fl. oz plastic jars with 5-hole spice cap.

A cocktail sized wooden paddle is provided for free with purchase.

How to Use:  First, open the jar and remove the protective seal.  Using the wooden paddle, remove the cork and poke and stir contents until the individual layers of spice are broken down.  Close the lid and shake until mixed thoroughly.  See the video on the bottom of the home page for a visual demonstration.

Please Note:  We take care in layering the spice so that each jar showcases the ingredients of the blend.   However, we can not guarantee that the layers will stay intact when shipped.  This will in no way affect the quality or flavoring of the spice mix.
