- My name is Cal Miller, and I am the owner and operator of Sahara Spice. The concept came about from preparing a brisket for a family feast. The colors of the spices in their layered form inspired me to delve into different and exotic flavor profiles. I started with one flavor and immediately wanted to bring other flavors from around the globe to our community.
- The namesake, Sahara, is a reminder that our blends are derived from natural products, Earth born.
- Sahara Spice is made in beautiful Fleming Island, FL. We can be found at local farmers and art markets in Northeast Region. Our artfully crafted jars are also available for shipping. All products are made in a Cottage food Operation That is not subject to Florida’s Food Safety Regulation.
- We understand that you have a choice on where to purchase spice blends, with so many choices in the grocery. Sahara Spice Blends are different. We use high quality ingredients with no preservatives. Our blends are meant to transport your taste buds using authentic herbs and spices that are found in a particular region. And, most of all, these jars are works of art until eaten. Each jar has hand layered color stories which showcase the beauty of the spice. Our creations make great gifts for the home chef and adventurous eater.
